About Us

Who We Are

The Growth Mindset Development Foundation (GMD Foundation) is a Christ-centered Non-Governmental Organisation which was established in 2023. Based on the leading of the Holy Spirit, personal experience, research and observation of the populace in rural communities, the Directors (Dr. Michael Amankwah and Mrs. Nana Yaa Amankwah) have become irrefutably passionate about reforming the children, youth and women in such communities through wholistic personality development projects that will propel sustainable development in the long term.

For a fact, most people are unaware of their uniqueness and potentials due to the devastating circumstances surrounding their developmental journeys. Hence, they are of the view that they are unequipped to achieve their dreams and aspirations. This way of thinking has negatively impacted the lives of people in various societies. Considering the heights that individuals can attain through self-awareness and discovery, we strongly posit that personality development is key.

Hence, this organization was created to bridge the gap between the fixed mindset and the growth mindset of the target group through education-based projects, self-awareness campaigns and donations of all kinds.
